TRANSPORTATION FROM SEA-TAC AIRPORT

· Shuttle Express
A shared shuttle bus offering door-to-door service. The cost is $24.00 per passenger, and can be accessed outside of doors #6 and #26 on Sea-Tac's lower level.

· Taxi cabs
The estimated cost from the airport to the University is $35-40 (a better option than Shuttle Express if shared by two or more).

· Metro (Public Bus System)
The fare is $1.25 ($1.75 during rush hour)
From bay #1 on Sea-Tac's lower level, take either the #194 (before 9pm) or the #174 (after 9 pm), both of which leave every 30 minutes, to the downtown Seattle bus tunnel, where you will change to the #71, 72, or 73, one of which leaves every ten minutes, to the University District. If you arrive downtown on the bus after 11pm, instead of the bus tunnel, you can catch the 71, 72, or 73 along 3rd avenue.

If you are staying at the University Inn, get off the bus at Roosevelt and University Parkway. For the Best Western University Tower (this is the ‘official’ conference hotel) and the Silver Cloud: get off at University Avenue and 45th. The Chambered Nautilus: Get off at University Avenue and 50th.

DIRECTIONS FROM SEA-TAC AIRPORT

To the University Tower
From I-5, use exit 169. Drive east on 45th Street 5 blocks to Brooklyn Ave, then left at the hotel entrance.

To the University Inn
The University Inn is easily accessible from Interstate 5. At exit 169, turn east on NE 45th Street. Turn right on Roosevelt Way NE. The Inn is 3 blocks south on your left on the corner of NE 42nd St.

To the Silver Cloud Inn
From I-5: Take Exit 169 (NE 45th St). Go east 1 mile and exit right on overpass. Go under the overpass and stay right onto 25th Ave. NE.

To the Chambered Nautilus
Heading North on I-5 from the Airport, take I-5 to the 50th Street Exit. Turn right on 50th Street. Follow 50th till it almost ends at 20th Ave. NE. There is a flashing red stoplight at the intersection and you will turn Left on 20th NE. Follow 20th to 54th St and turn Right on 54th St. (You are now going downhill). At the bottom of the hill turn Right onto 22nd Ave NE. It's located at 5005 22nd Ave NE. The house is on the right hand side of the road, about 200-300 yards down. Look up, it's on the hillside and there is a sign. The house is a large blue Georgian Colonial.
