· Shuttle Express
A shared shuttle bus offering door-to-door service. The cost is $24.00 per
passenger, and can be accessed outside of doors #6 and #26 on Sea-Tac's lower level.
· Taxi cabs
The estimated cost from the airport to the University is $35-40 (a better
option than Shuttle Express if shared by two or more).
· Metro (Public Bus System)
The fare is $1.25 ($1.75 during rush hour)
From bay #1 on Sea-Tac's lower level, take either the #194 (before 9pm) or the
#174 (after 9 pm), both of which leave every 30 minutes, to the downtown
Seattle bus tunnel, where you will change to the #71, 72, or 73, one of which
leaves every ten minutes, to the University District. If you arrive downtown on
the bus after 11pm, instead of the bus tunnel, you can catch the 71, 72, or 73
along 3rd avenue.
If you are staying at the University Inn, get off the
bus at Roosevelt and University Parkway. For the Best Western University Tower
(this is the ‘official’ conference hotel) and the Silver Cloud: get off at
University Avenue and 45th. The Chambered Nautilus: Get off at University
Avenue and 50th.
